The Hawaiian Islands are made up of six islands: Hawaii, Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai.

About Hawaii – Island of Kauai
Kauai is the oldest island in the chain of Hawaiian Islands and is known as “the Garden Isle” because of its green lushness and beauty. Captain Cook first landed on the island in 1778, returning home to tell of a paradise found in the Pacific, thereby introducing Hawaii to the world. Kauai today is known for its world class sport fishing, outdoor activities and the famous Napali Coastline.

Best time to visit Kauai
Because Kauai lies at the edge of a tropical zone, it typically only has two seasons, both warm. Year round temperatures are between *70-85 degrees, depending where you are. Kauai is a series of microclimates; when it’s raining in one part of the island, another part will be dry. General rule of thumb is that the rainy season generally runs in the winter, from November to March, with rainy days often consisting of a mix of rain and clouds, followed by periods of sun.
